Accepting: Steve Clemons, Editor at Large

Steve Clemons is the Washington editor at large for The Atlantic and editor in chief of AtlanticLIVE. He is a national security and foreign policy contributor to MSNBC and a senior fellow of the New America Foundation, where he was executive vice president until 2011. Clemons was previously executive vice president of the Economic Strategy Institute, senior policy advisor on economic and international affairs to former senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), and the first executive director of the Nixon Center. He is a member of the World Economic Forum Council on Geopolitical Risk and serves on the board of Washington College’s Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience.
