Richard Aaron, MFA, CSEP (Emeritus) | President, BizBash Media/Associate Professor NYU 

This former Broadway musical actor is now acknowledged as one of the foremost experts in Events and a true pioneer for the modern event industry. President of BizBash Media, Richard managed development of the company events for 2 decades.
Richard was the founding president of the New York Chapter of the ILEA, serving on both the MPI's and ILEA's International Board of Directors. He established the first charitable Foundation for Event Industry named The SEARCH Foundation for the Events. He has served on the boards of NACE, The MPI Foundation and ISES Education Foundations and chaired the Green Meeting Industry Foundation.

Richard is an adjunct associate professor at New York University Center for Hospitality where he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in their Hospitality program.  Richard has been named MPI's International Planner of the Year and inducted into the NY MPI Hall of Fame In 2016 Richard was awarded the highest honor awards in the Hospitality Industry by CIC The Convention Industry Council was inducted into their Hall of Leaders for his contributions to shaping the modern Event Industry.
